The White Western House (Former Official Residence of Jeonbuk State Governor)

In June and July this year, Sori Festival launched a new program “World Music Academy” in collaboration with the World Music Center Foundation. The program offered an opportunity to understand Irish, Argentinean, Indian, and East Asian states’ musics and instruments, and to musically communicate with young active world music performers and thereby experience different cultures around the world. The program was held at the “White Western House,” the 53-year-old former governor's residence of Jeonbuk State, which has been newly transformed into a complex cultural space.
