Powerful Energy Generated Through the Combination between Irish and Italian Traditional Musics

TarantaCeltica’s music is a result of a new type of combination between traditional musics of Southern Italy and Ireland. Hypnotic moods yielded by Tarantella rhythm meet Irish music’s cheerful and and dramatic aspects co-generate a strong energy filled with fever and joyfulness. Initiated by the two master percussionists, Andrea Piccioni and Dave Boyd, TarantaCeltica offers us very unique performances made through their wittily-crossing of these two cultures as well as through reinterpreting the depth of traditionality with their own contemporary perspective.
