A small festival within Sori Festival, “Sori Festival for Children” offers a wide range of programs prepared for families and children. Unique and quality performances from Czech, Polish, and Korean artists will inspire kids’ creativity, imaginative power, and joyfulness. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of experiential programs including an exhibition of logo-design contest for kids.

A Mystical World Made Through Colors, Papers, and Brushes

“A slightly eccentric woman who lives with her animals, mushrooms and imaginary friends greets the audience. She loves to paint and gets a variety of colors from flowers and herbs. When she works, she is often silent but sometimes talks quietly to herself. She loves to have people come to her house to appreciate her paintings and to sit around and spend a mystical time together. Let us paint something with her!

The puppet theatre <Little Visitor> brings everything up close. Visitors can get to experience the moment of colors’ creation, and to watch how the colors absorbed into the paper. Visitors also can hold and slide a brush across the surface, feeling the resistance of it. Things that look ordinary and simplistic from a distance begin to speak the language of wonder when you get up close. The performance by painter and illustrator Veronika Vlková crosses the genre-boundaries between exhibition and theatre.
