A small festival within Sori Festival, “Sori Festival for Children” offers a wide range of programs prepared for families and children. Unique and quality performances from Czech, Polish, and Korean artists will inspire kids’ creativity, imaginative power, and joyfulness. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of experiential programs including an exhibition of logo-design contest for kids.

Program

Musics and Cultures of the Polish Highlanders


The high mountainous area of Southern Poland is the home to a rich folk culture that is unique to the highlands. Poland’s leading jazz artists and southern Highlander folk musicians introduce the culture and music of the highlands. Audiences can experience the colorful sounds of harmonium, guembri, dudy, and other unique instruments that can be met easily.


 


"Poland Focus" is a special project commemorating the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Poland, in collaboration with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
