Jazz on a Summer Night – Menjamin Moussay’s Piano Harmonized with Na Yoonseon’s Voice

Vocalist Na Yoonseon and pianist Benjamin Moussay come together to weave their sounds into the summer landscape of Jeonju. Na Yoonseon, a jazz vocalist known for her unique expression, has been actively performing since her debut in 1994, singing at a variety of festivals internationally. She also has released twelve studio albums over the past three decades. Benjamin Moussay, a French pianist, composer, film composer as well as educator, released his solo album <Promontoire> through ECM in 2020 and received international acclaim.

On the stage of Jeonju International Festival, the two artists will feature a diverse repertoire centered on songs from Na Yoonseon's twelfth album “Elles.” The album is Na Yoonseon’s unique reinterpretation of the masterpieces of legendary female artists including Nina Simone, Edith Piaf, and Björk. The performance will offer audiences a great chance to enjoy the synergy created when world-class performers meet each other on a single stage.
