Kim Juri’s Gangsan-je Simcheong-ga
Kim Juri began practicing pansori at her age of four. She performed the Dongpyeong-je style Sugung-ga at the age of eight, and at her age of ten, she performed Sugung-ga and Simcheong-ga for total 9 hours and 20 minutes, which went into the Guinness Book of Records. Kim Juri, who had renowned as a wonder child artist in her younger days, has grown into an outstanding performer, showcasing her diverse talents on various broadcasting stages. At the stage of Jeonju International Sori Festival, she offers her Simcheong-ga performance of the Gangsan-je style that is characterized by its refined expression and elegant tune. Kim Juri’s clear and delicate voice will show the stylish beauty of Gangsan-je. Percussionist Lee Wooseong will perform buk with her.
